CHESTER, PA – Agosto 1, 2024 – Senator John I. Kane is pleased to announce that honorably discharged Veterans of the Korean War, who served between Junio 25, 1950, and Julio 27, 1953, are eligible to receive the prestigious Republic of Korea-Ambassador for Peace Medal. This medal honors the brave individuals who served during the Korean War and comes in a distinctive case along with a certificate of gratitude from the South Korean government.
Priority is given to living veterans, making it crucial for eligible individuals or their families to apply promptly. The application process can be completed by following the instructions available on the Korean War Veterans Association – Republic of Korea – Ambassador for Peace Medal website. Given the ages of Korean War veterans, time is of the essence.
