On January 22, Senators Muth, Kane, Comitta, Kearney, and Schwank will host a policy hearing discussing the unintended consequences of Act 12 of 2016. This hearing seeks to uncover how the shift to fair market value in water utility acquisitions has inadvertently led to increased customer rates and financial burdens, along with a discussion of policy solutions that can ensure Pennsylvanians are paying a fair rate for their water utilities.
