
Senior Scam Prevention & Real ID Event

Senator Kane, along with the Delco District Attorney’s Office & PennDOT, are proud to announce a Senior Scam Prevention & Real ID event at the Chester County Senior Center on Wednesday, March 19th, at 10:30 AM.
This event aims to provide the senior community and their families with information on how to spot common scams and safeguard personal information. Along with this crucial information, attendees will also hear a presentation from the Delaware County DA’s Office and PennDOT on how to obtain a Real ID.
In addition, attendees are encouraged to bring expired/unwanted medications to be safely disposed of with the Delco DA.
Senator Kane expressed his enthusiasm for the event, stating, “Empowering seniors and their families with awareness and digital literacy is crucial in reducing their susceptibility to these scams.” Senator Kane then noted that, “Scammers often exploit vulnerabilities, and with rapidly evolving technology, safeguarding the senior community from exploitation in an increasingly digital world is more important than ever.”
