5th Annual Overdose Awareness Vigil
Delaware County Courthouse 201 W Front Street, Media, PA, United StatesSenator Tim Kearney and I will be hosting our annual Overdose Awareness Vigil at 7:00 p.m., on Thursday, August 28, in front of the Delaware County Courthouse in Media, PA.
This year marks the fifth consecutive time that we’ve teamed up to raise awareness and combat the stigma surrounding overdoses.
We are inviting the entire community to come out and show support to family members and friends who have lost a loved one due to a drug-related death.
Several local organizations are confirmed to participate and will be onsite to provide substance-use disorder resources and other helpful information to those who may need it.

FREE Shredding & Drug Take Back Event
Northley Middle School Parking Lot 2801 Concord Road, Aston, PA, United StatesI’m teaming up with State Rep. Leanne Krueger to help protect our community and the environment with a FREE Shredding & Prescription Drug Take Back Event.
Date: Saturday, September 27
Time: 9:00 AM – Noon
Location: Northley Middle School, 2801 Concord Rd., Aston, PA 19014- Safely shred documents containing personal information (limit 4 boxes per vehicle).
- Dispose of unused or expired medications through the Delco District Attorney’s Mobile Drug Collection Unit.
No electronics will be accepted. This event is open to all residents of the 161st Legislative District (no businesses, please).

Veterans Appreciation Lunch
American Legion Post 926 3220 Concord Road, Aston, United StatesI’m proud to join State Representative Leanne Krueger in hosting a FREE Veterans Appreciation Lunch to honor the service and sacrifice of veterans in the 161st Legislative District.

- Please park in the side lot and follow signs.Veterans and a family member are invited to enjoy lunch, connect with resources, and meet with the Pennsylvania Mobile Veterans’ Van, which will be on-site to help with benefits such as health care, disability, pensions, education, and more.
